ABOUT US
HISTORY
On January 7, 2018, Sovereign Grace Community Church of the Yampa Valley held its first formal church service. Founded as a nondenominational church, its emphasis is to exalt Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, to equip the saints for the work of the ministry and to evangelize the lost. The church called Tim Adams to be the founding pastor and worship services were conducted in member homes for the first few months. The church then moved to meeting in the historic county district building and now meets in rented space at the Craig Hotel. Sovereign Grace Community Church has established its foundation on sound doctrine, spiritual leadership, and active service.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
Sovereign Grace Community Church of the Yampa Valley is dedicated to seeking God's will and purpose for this body of Believers.
This church wholeheartedly affirms that the Holy Bible itself is the sole and final source of all that we believe. We further accept and adopt as our Statement of Faith, the New Hampshire Confession of Faith, 1833. Read in full HERE.
Our desire and purpose is to take the eternal message of hope, love and salvation to a lost and hurting world in the Yampa Valley and beyond.
